UX DESIGN DIRECTION
I was approached by the Centify founders to help them design the graphical interface and user experience for their upcoming micro payment solution. Some of the immediate goals were to:
- Establish a company brand and essential assets (logo, colors, website, collateral material)
- Design the user-facing graphical interface
- Design the back-end dashboards for management and reporting
- Create high-fidelity mockups for various potential applications and new feature ideas
USER INTERFACE DESIGN
As a payment solution built to be integrated in a variety of platforms via an overlay, the user interface needed to be consistent across all integrations and layout-independent.
I proposed an approach using a self-contained interface that would provide any and all necessary content on a step-by-step or screen-by-screen basis - no scrolling, no convoluted layout or content.
AGILE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
This project took shape using an agile development approach, where various aspects of the platform were developed as part of a sprint and then reiterated in subsequent sprints.
Some of the features or components that were created included:
- Essential features layout and design
- Progressive onboarding user flow mockups
- Notification system interface for admin dashboards
- Dashboard and reporting layouts
- Variety of errors and information messages
- Production of graphic assets for integration
- Mockups for possible integrations on various platforms
